Hello, dear loyal blog followers! Thank you for your patience in my long stretch of "quiet"....it's been a YEAR!!! Since the pandemic hit, I've been immersed in the world of medical/psychiatric work, leading a counseling program at a college local to me in the Bay Area. I also have a small private practice. You can imagine that things have been extremely busy with this global trauma of a pandemic, racial injustices, and political unrest. As always, I continue to be honored and privileged to serve the clients I work with. I just wanted to shout out a Happy Spring. My goal is to be more interactive, getting back into writing and staying connected with projects that are trauma-informed and social-justice informed work. I've continued to take continuing education in advanced level EMDR work, expressive arts training, and trauma informed modalities. So much of my work in the last year has been targeted to college age students, some of our most vulnerable people on the planet right now. I love the work I do, and I am excited that a new chapter is about to be upon us, as a post-COVID world unfolds before us (crossing fingers and toes) hopefully in the very near future. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we can now see it! Gratitude for your patience. I will check back in again and share the latest projects I am working on shortly. Cheers! Andrea :)
